Paypal refund procedure-'temporary hold'??

Hi, a seller has refunded the cost of an item I returned to him. When I check my paypal account is says, 'refund completed' then 'temporary hold' and my account balance remains at zero.
How long can I expect the funds to be in 'temporary hold'?

Never heard of this before, maybe the seller doesn't have the funds so they are asking him to provide the funds and then will send it to you?0
