I have REG NO. of car but no insurer details.
how would i go about getting the TP insurer to repair the car.
(Im not even sure if they have admitted liablity or have refuted my line of the story)
My own insurance company have said if you want us to sort the repair out call back (they will claim money of TP they said).
really not sure how to proceed.

Simple, let your insurer deal with it as they suggested. They'll find out who the TP insurer is and take it from there. I'm assuming there's no doubt as to the third party's liability.0

You can pay to put the TP reg no into https://www.askmid.com which will give you the insurance details.0

So what actually happended and why dont you have more details.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If they have not admitted liablility then just let your insurers sort it.
They wont be paying out if they dinty admit liability and your will be making endledd calls to sort it. Or just give your insurers the details and leave them to it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Normally I would say deal directly with the third party insurance to save time but to be honest, I would give your insurance company the details and let them deal with it. After all, that's what you pay them for.............make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

The TP crashed into mine when it was stationary.
Mine has come of worse with bumper damage, on TP no scratch, dint or bump.
If i let my insurer deal with it will my insurance come renewal (2 months time) increase?
Also if they refute my allegation won't this be classed as at fault claim?
also wont the insurance company so take it to our nominated garage (might be miles away or someone i prefer not to deal with)
Still confused...0 -

So it sounds like their fault.

It may do, but you need to inform your insurance anyway.

May go 50/50.

Who knows but you'll get a hire car.
Still confused...
