so you are saying it was mis-sold as in the future you didnt claim on it? or are you saying your allegations in your first complaint were false and want to make a new complaint?
To be honest, your complaint will look very weak if you keep changing your story.

Sorry i didnt explain myself very well. I took out a credit card in 2001 and was sold ppi, i couldnt remember if i took out the card as a student so i started a claim with the halifax, as wouldnt have needed ppi if i was a student. I then discovered myself that i had started work when it was sold, so i cancelled my claim against the halifax.

Anyway what im now saying is can i still claim for being mis-sold ie for the sales person not making me fully aware of what i was getting.

I still pay ppi and i still have the card, iv had various balances from £100 - 10000 over the years so will have paid alot of ppi and never claimed.

    thanks again

Good that you cancelled but it does suggest your powers of recollection are unreliable.

Were you not over 18 and able to read? It is difficult to see how you could not be both if you had already completed your student life.

That is the nature of insurance. The average person pays more than they receive and, hopefully get nothing back.

I had to make an insurance claim last year and am glad I had cover but I would far rather have "wasted" the premium.
