Hi, my girlfriend is a primary school teacher. She had previously held all her reports in 'my documents' on her laptop. These were produced during half term whilst working from home, not logged on to the network. The school had a technican in on thursday and it looks as if he has created her a new profile on their network. Now in my documents theres is nothing. Is it possible to restore profiles?
Thanks
Patrick

If it was a roaming profile, and never synced with the network, you'll have to either try an undelete, or look to see if there is an old profile laying about on the laptop, sometimes they are called partnersname1
Undelete/Unformat software:

I wonder whether it might be easier than that albertross - The laptop is probably only using a different local profile path. Use windows explorer and check all of the c:\Documents and Settings\<profilename>\My Documents0
