Opus - anyone received their cashback cheque yet?

I was just wondering if anyone on here had been using their OPUS Crediit card for the very reasonable 5% cashback they were promising on all spend to January 31st 2012?

The original cashback statements said that we'd receive a cheque in March 2012 but surprise surprise, I've had nothing as yet.

Anyone else waiting?

I do wonder what the situation is legally on offers such as this? I'd been receiving emails every month confirming my cashback amount earned, but what if Opus were to suddenly renege on the offer?

Where would we stand from a legal viewpoint?

Yeah, I received an invitation in early Summer last year from Opus offering me 5% cashback on all card usage (excluding cash withdrawls) up until January 31st 2012.

It explicitly said that we would receive a cheque in March 2012 for the cashback we'd earned.

Up till December, I received an email from Opus detailing the amount of cashback I'd earned to date. I haven't heard anything from them since!

    Sounds good!

But after hearing of numerous complaints about Opus, I am ever so skeptical! ;)

I had a letter a month or two ago saying it was due the end of March. Looking forward to my £500!

I tried to sign my wife up for a card last year but they are not opening new accounts

I have also been offered a rebate of 3% for the whole of 2012 and on the basis of this have switched back to them (I had deserted them at the end of the previous offer to a 1% cashback provider)

I have contacted Opus via the login site and they promise to reply within 2 working days-today was my third message since the start of the month and still no reply as to when the cheques are going to hit our doormats!
I am expecting to get pretty close to the maximum of 500.00 so am not happy that they have not replied or sent the cheque-have had a further offer of 1% till July but won't be taking them up on it-if they can't get 5% out don't hold out much hope of a 3% cheque which is the offer i have now.If the 5% cheque arrives the first thing i will do after it has cleared is get rid of the card. The service is dreadful.
