I sent Groupon the following on 10/3 followed by a copy of the email from the supplier. Neither email has been acknowledged and I have had no refund. Not good eh?

The company canceled the session which I booked last Monday at the last minute and were unable to offer either an alternative date or an alternative activity. This was particularly annoying as I had booked accommodation in the area, but never mind - the break was good. They promised to email both myself and you to confirm that the session did not take place and so that I could claim my payment back from Groupon. For my part, I have still had no such email and so I am asking if you can make the refund anyway. I look forward to hearing from you,
