Windows 7 - How to do I check to see if I selected English or English UK on set up?

New computer, went to install Adobe Reader and it automatically detected that my computer is Windows 7, English. Just out of interest I selected the other language options to see if there was UK (as English could refer to US) and there is an option for English UK. I'm now wondering whether, when I set up Windows 7, that I might have missed an English UK option and just selected English (and with same with Word set up etc).
Is there any way that I can check to see what I've set it up as and if so is there any way I could change it (without having to uninstall - which I am definitely not capable of doing).
Also, when downloading Adobe, would it be better if I left it at the default English (which it says my computer is), or change it to English UK?

Start > Control Panel > Clock, Region and Language > Region and Language. (If your control panel is on Icon View the 3rd step is not needed)
Check each tab is set to United Kingdom.
Some software vendors only offer English or English (US) and don't specifically include English (UK)
The main difference will be spelling of some words (e.g. colour v color)How do I add a signature?0
