Comet in Guildford had a couple if these in stock for £225 earlier this week.

Gotta say - I love my Sony Tablet S. Great for internet things, plus it's a universal remote that works with everything I have.

Oh, and you can play PS1 games using a PS3 controller. Not essential, by any means, but it is pretty cool.

Might have a look at local Comet. I take it at that price it wasn't the Prime or if it was, didn't come with the keyboard/dock?

Their sales obviously stopped once they raised the price, so Ebuyer have dropped the iPad 2 again to £299.99 through Ebay.

My concern with the Ipads are that if you use all the emory then will you not be a little stuck, at least with the Sony you an use a memory card?

If you use all the memory you can just delete some of the apps you don't use any more (you can redownload them for free). Or if it's pictures or videos using up the space, you can always copy them to your PC then delete them from the iPad if all you were doing is storing them.
