How to BIN not Dutch

I have 8 items all the same and want to sell them all at £x each

Last time I tried to do this, the buyer thought he was getting all 8 for the price of 1

How do I go about preventing this? Is this a BIN?

Yeah, you want to do a BIN auction. When you create the listing, you just state the price you want to sell the items for in the BIN Price box, and then put 8 in the quantity box.

Put "No idiots please" in the listing. :)

Is this cheaper than listing them individually?

Hey! I got confused when I saw a multiple listing, as it said " set of 4", I assumed I would get all 4!

Yes. You save on the insertion fee and any extras you might add such as a Gallery picture.

For example, lets say you are selling 5 items at £4.99 and you want to add a gallery photo for each item:

    5 individual listings will cost you £1.75 (5 x 20p insertion fee + 5 x 15p Gallery fee)

1 BIN listing for 5 items will cost you 50p (35p insertion fee + 15p Gallery fee)

(+ Any Final Value Fees, which is the same for both).

The only thing to be careful of, is to check the insertion fee rates. For example, 5 items at £4.99 will cost 35p to insert, where as 5 items at £5 will cost 75p as it moves them up to the next level of insertion fees.
