Consumer Finance Claims Ltd, Stokesley

Consumer Finance Claims Ltd, Stokesley......has any other member had issues is dealing with this company? I'm currently attempting to resolve some serious issues with them, but despite e-mailing them and sending them letters by recorded delivery, since January 14, 2012, I still await there response. The only replies that I have received is to do with the fact that if I don't pay invoices on time that they will proceed with court action. Please note that the invoices to date have been paid, which I did after receiving an e-mail from them one Friday afternoon at 4.55pm giving me 5 minutes to pay by DD over the phone, which I opted not to do but sent them a cheque, by recorded delivery.

    Hi there

Do not know much about how claims management companies work myself, but any problems you could try contacting the Claims regulation for advice on where to take this one, details below, good luck.

Send them a copy of the cheque (has this been cashed at your bank yet?) and let them know that you are reporting them to the claims company regulator for endless contact over a bill you have settled.

Hello, many thanks for your reply to my question. The cheque has been banked and I have made an official complaint to the company in question, which has fallen on deaf ears. I've also made them aware that they have breached their own contract for failing to make me aware of the offer being offered by MBNA, and for also failing to obtain my acceptance of the offer being made to me by the MBNA. I've also informed them that they have also breached their contract for failing to acknowledge my complaint within 5 days of receipt and for failing to respond within 4 weeks. I've passed the whole matter over to the Claims Regulator for investigation.

Well, since having attempted to obtain the official offer from the MBNA from this company since January 15 by e-mail and recorded delivery I've had no other option but to pass the whole case over to the Regulator for inverstigation. All I ever wanted to know was what was the offer from the MBNA, since they failed to inform me of their offer, and to seek my acceptance of the offer, at the end of the day all I have received is a cheque from the Claims Management Company for a value that they have told me was the offer less their 20%. They have also failed to follow their own complaints procedure by not acknowledging my complaint etc.
