Moroccan oil is full of silicones, REALLY bad for the hair.

ALDI has an argan oil for sale from Thursday, for £3.99, not sure about the composition thought.. the bottle is a copy of Moroccan oil (same colours).

I've tried pure organic argan oil and it leaves my hair horrible.. I guess it's not for my type of hair (which is fine, dry and frizzy).

i bought this in Aldi recently (not yet tried) and am wondering whether anyone's tried it before? I've been using Vitika Coconut Hair Oil

I wash my hair and towel dry and then apply and leave overnight. and wash out the following day. as it's an oil, it's a burger to rinse off, but after about 3 washes, and a conditioner it's good. you'll definitely notice sleekness and shine after 2 weeks and i would recommend using this as a weekly treatment. i just couldn't thank my hairdresser enough for telling me about it. as someone who has never done treatments before 'life - parenthood, work etc., took over, this is a miracle-worker for those with dull, dry hair. it's took out a lot of bulk and made it v. silky and super shiny to say the least esp. when ppl at work commented on my new hair!

btw, you can buy this from any big Asian supermarkets/grocers. It's quite common for about £4.50 for 300ml. there are other products in the range, but I use this one personally.
  • Avon does a good Argan oil as well as Shampoo and Conditioner containing Argan oil.

I've used V05 Miracle Oil which contains Argan Oil for a while now. Comes in a bottle with a dropper so quite handy for getting the oil out. I put it on my hair when damp. Increases shine and does help reduce breakage. But use sparingly as I think too much could make hair look dull.

Think this retails for £4 - £5 but I buy when its on offer in Superdrug for about £2.50. Alot cheaper than Morrocan Oil!

Argan Secret, can get it from Sally's beauty. They also do a great shampoo and conditioner. Bit pricey but often have 3 for 2.
