I have been using Micheal diCesare argan oil for hair.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent oil which isn't too expensive.
Thanks.

There isn't a Savers in my town or a Superdrug0 -
I bought some on Amazon it was about £8 ish I think. Small Bottle (Maybe 50 mls?) but you only need one drop!
That said, for softeness and "sleeking" effect I have found the Inecto hair Serum to be just as good and that was only about £3.00 !!!!!0 -
Ebay might be useful? I bought Tamanu Oil for post-skin peel purposes from one seller a while back.
Poundland is selling Australian Body Care Argan Oil Shampoo and other products, like skin cream (though someone mentioned it's right down the ingredients list) that might be worth a try. Haven't seen conditioner, though.0 -
Also, some people who have very curly or unmanageable hair buy "mane and tail" (for horses) conditioner to help untangle their hair (assuming that's why you're looking for Argan Oil products..I may be wrong)
Sounds ludicrous but it really works.0 -
My girlfriend is half Moroccan and has used several different types of Argan Oil. It's a staple ingredient in Moroccan cooking and she mainly uses it for her hair as it's apparently really good for that.
She says that the best argan oil is the pure deodorised type, I think it's cold pressed, you have to pay a little extra than normal but she says it's worth it. She buys hers from a company called purearganoil.co.uk it's about £20 for a bottle, but as guineapig says it lasts for ages.
Hope this helps.0 -
there is a good morocon oil by organix , called renewing morocon oil 100ml. its about £7 and its great , really gets tames the frizz. makes my hair lovely. they also have a shampoo and conditioner. 3 for 2 at boots so all 3 cost me £14.

I seem to see Argan or Moroccan oil advertised everywhere, but I've no idea what's it all about. What effect does it have on hair? Mine is think, frizzy and flyaway, so if this oil is suitable, i'd love to know more about it! ;-)0

Actually bought some from ebay. Hasn't arrived yet, so will report on it when I've had chance to use it.
mapcr77..argan oil is supposed to good for skin, hair & I think other things too.
It really smooths hair & feeds the hair too. Great for long hair, as you can add the oil to the lengths. When hair is long, only the scalp & roots really benefit from the natural oils.
I find it also helps wet hair dry faster. I never use a hair dryer or heated appliances on my hair. So if I'm in a rush & need my hair to dry abit quicker, I find the argan oil really helps.
It is worth a try0
