Santander 123 cashback card

Does your statement (online) show cashback amount for each transaction where it's available? I know nationwide cashback card does and I'm really hoping santander's 123 does simply for the fact that the places it's valid is really choppy so would be nice to see straight away it the cashback was valid at X shop.

No, unfortunately, just an overall cashback figure based on the qualifying transactions.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Aye it just gets lumped in at the end of the month.

Why is it really choppy? I thought they paid up a percentage on supermarkets, dept stores & petrol stations? There's no dept stores in my city, so i'm limited to the 3% & 1% but i assumed i'd get cashback on all transactions in those places.

That's what I figured until I took a closer look at the qualifying stores, specifically in my area, it's alot more limited. My nearest petrol station doesn't even make the list.

If you mean the Nationwide Select credit card, then it doesn't do this. It just shows the total cashback earned each month, and the running total so far. It doesn't break it down per transaction. Although, as it's a set amount of 0.5% you could work it out for yourself.

Understood and yes, it's much simpler as it's less restrictive and fixed whereas the 123 is all over the place.

  • You can enter individual stores here to check them but doesn't give a full list:
