I'm afraid I agree with comments above.

The tool here on MSE is poor, it does not find the vast majority of the local items. Localbargainfinder works much better for me - and I will now just save a search based on its content - easy.

EDIT - Mind you the ebay search is rubbish too - I get varying numbers of results - and when I reduced the price limit from £150 to £30 the number of items went up by more than 100!

I love the app but is there any possibility of being able to exclude specific sellers?

I have someone withing 10 miles who sells hundreds of porcelain figures for pick up only, so I basically get these and finding anything of interest to me is more difficult than it should be. I basically don't want to see anything by this seller.

and again. you can do what the 'tool' does yourself and save it to my eBay.
You can set exclude/include sellers to the search crieria.
You can set ebay to email you with the searches.....

Can anyone tell me why my "collect from home" auctions never seem to appear on the Local eBay Deals Mapper? I always put the town I am selling from in my auctions but whenever I do a search on the Mapper using my Post Code as the centre of the Search Area, my auctions don't appear. Any hints or tips would be very welcome.

I have been using the local deal mapper for a while and it is fab. However, of late something a bit odd is happening. Firstly, when I search, I don't seem to find any deals with less than an hour to run - which at first I thought was just one of those things. However, I then discovered a second oddity. I selected an item that had about an hour to run and clicked on the item so that I could watch the time counting down in ebay. At the same time I kept refreshing the MSE page to check progress. When the item got to about 55 mins it disappeared from the MSE page but was still present on eBay. Am I doing something wrong? I couldn't find any settings that would allow me to only see items with an hour plus left to run but.....

Any help greatly accepted

I use it every day to search for local deals but recently a few times it comes back with no search results.

Re Ebay mapper - this has worked very well for me and I've bagged some bargains. Today when I've logged on my location is Ghana West Africa on the map, but items are in my local area when zooming in to map. - anyone else having problems?
