First we used bottled then Used a filter jug as our tap water is nasty, now we have an american f/freezer the water is filtered via that, yes we pay for a new filter once a year but far cheaper than the bottles of water we used to buy years ago.

  • When I moved from one part of the country to another I bought a water filter, as I couldn't get used to the taste of the tap water. I find it depends on what you've grown up with. I work in a city. The life long residents will happily drink the water straight from the tap. Everyone else moans and complains about the taste.

I only buy bottled water as a very last resort if I'm out and about (mainly because I only drink tea or water). If I know I'm going to need a drink while I'm out I'll fill a bottle with filtered water before I go.
