Things to plant NOW!

Help needed, not sure if this is the right place, but couldn't find anything more appropriate,
Trying to start a small garden almost from scratch. Not a complete novice, but not familiar with bulbs.
Managed to pick up the following bulbs cheap, say they needed planting January to May! :-
Lupins, Echinacea Purpurea, Liatris & Hollyhocks.
Is it too late to plant them now and are they ok in partial shade?
The seeds I have put in, albeit late seem to be ok, not sure if bulbs will be the same.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0
