Just been given a PCN for parking slightly over two poorly marked bays in a large EMPTY car park. Two days later whilst moving cars around on my driveway to achieve off road parking ticketed again for having a car on the road for just two minutes whilst builders vans further up road were let off.
Young mum with 5 yr severley handicapped child ticketed for her blue badge round wrong way. Ye gods does she not have enough to contend with. Stroke victim sent aerial view as evidence of his illegally park car at gp's despite his blue badge being in windscreen. Goes on and on. In our area we have a smart car with a roof mounted camera that drives round all day going 'kerching kerching' I have fondly named this the cashguzzler. Anybody want to join me in fighting for commonsense. We are not here to make up the councils deficit. This is not parking management it is robbery. Help me please !!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Thats whay we are here.
Some of those seem to be council some PPCs.
The approach is of course different.
Yes, so-called "parking management" has become a cash cow, we complained about the old Police traffic wardens but they were angels compared to some of the CEOs that are about today.0 -

Rather than asking if people want to join you, why not join THE existing ''motorists' fightback forum''?
You'd be good on pepipoo as long as you don't use any words like 'robbery', 'scam' etc as that's one thing they can't allow. Anyway why not try them out with your PCN and then stick around and learn how to get off them in the future as well? I go on pepipoo and I help as much as I can, I post advice there as 'SchoolRunMum'. I have only had one PCN myself years ago and I paid it but now I know better, just from the experience of reading and learning lots of stuff over the last few years by being a member there. Post a new topic here:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30
But don't post a general rant - not that there's anything wrong with a rant! - but post a specific new thread there with pics of the front & back of your PCN (only if it's a real Council one rather than a private fake one of course). Explain the circumstances and show pics of the faded lines in the car park too.
Most people on pepipoo get off most Council PCNs as they are a mine of info & advice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
In an ideal world councils would be forced to ring-fence any monies received from parking tickets for use on improving parking/roads and not as a revenue generator to plug a gap in the budget.
Either that or the money going back to central governement where the councils see nothing from it. Then I will be suprised if ticket issues didn't drop0
