Bank of Scotland One Card online bill payment question

I opened this card a couple of months ago. Just went into my online banking to make a payment out of my current account and can't figure out how to do it. It seems that to make a payment/transfer I require the sort code and acc number for the credit card and I only have the long number on the front of the card.

Can anyone help please, the HBOS system is driving me bananas!

You have to set it up as a bill payment from your current account using the sort code and account number (on the back of the statement) and your card number as the reference. There is no way just to transfer from your BOS current account to the credit card account, mad i know!

I've not even had my 1st statement through so I guess I have to wait for it to arrive before I can do anything!

If you opened the account 'a couple of months ago' (which means two months at least) and you haven't had a statement yet, then something appears to be wrong. The first statement gets compiled about a month after opening. If you opted for on-line statements, you might have missed the notification that the statement is available on line. Check on-line. Alternatively the statement might have gone lost in the mail.

Contact the CC about the missing statement immediately. You don't want a late payment, in particular not, if you are on some interest-free promotional deal, which you might lose due to a late payment.

Panic over,

I've phoned them and they were very helpful. It turns out the 1st statement is not due to go out until next week. Got the sort code and acc number over the phone just in case.
