How to find a decent MOT center?
Comments
-
If someone has a car which is not covered by an MOT they are allowed, by law, to drive to an MOT centre by prior appointment. MOT centres work by an appintment system for this reason.
I suggest your friend is incorrect, phone the centre yourself
Had a look online and found an 'appointments' phone number so she must be mistaken. Still, doesn't help with the distance. Would you say it was worth a 40 minute drive to a council MOT center over a regular MOT center? Bearing in mind I'm over my petrol budget already this month so could do without unnecessary trips (but if I saved more by avoiding unnecessary repairs, that'd be great!)I've used these guys several times without any problems, they only do MOTs and basic servicing, not repairs so no incentive to find work or otherwise unnecessarily fail the vehicle.
