Happy Birthday groovy`s panels. It`s also my panels 1st birthday....joint party? Save some cash.
I`ve generated just short of 3700 kWh in my first year, my orientation is more favorable than yours though.
2.5 O`s for me yesterday.3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:0 -
Hi Groovy
That's a low target for a 4kWh system.
Our system is 2.4kWh and our target is 96kWh. Totally different area to you though!!
Or am I missing something???

It's all about the panel orientation for me. I have more facing NE than SW, (though the initial outlay was worth it over only having the 6 panels on the SW roof).4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=299350 -
I don't think I'll be talking about my generation today, more likely, how deep the puddles are.0

4.32 kWh / 1.08 O's Grim oop North today... started to brighten up around 2pm, but still far too many large clouds to obscure the sun.
In other news, received a replacement Wattson transmitter today... here's hoping it's a little more reliable!4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=299350 -
Looks like we had much the same weather as everyone else. Very wet morning and sun only making an appearance after 3pm, which was much too late to do my system any good.
Oh well, could have been worse. 4.2kWh = 1.05 O's.4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.
E.mids/SSE. 35 degree roof pitch, no shading.0
