0.16 O's today, worst day so far this year...coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

If you've seen the forecast for tomorrow then it might stay right up there as one of the best days so far this year too :rotfl:

Half an inch of rain & gales. Probably better to get it all out of the way now and save the good weather for the longer days

Ended up with 3,502.8 kilowatts on the year, from 20th March inclusive. This is 892.66 Os.

Can anyone tell me when payments increase? Is it always on 01/04/YYYY? I want to make sure I get a reading close to that date.

    Thanks,

    James

Oh - and 0.082 Os yesterday!
    3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
Surrey/SE. 30 degree roof pitch, chimney shading from mid afternoon.

Yes. I always submit my readings at the end of the last day in each quarter, so there is no estimation going on when the rate increases.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

2014 was our best December so far, 124kWh compared to previous high of 104kWh.

Great end to a fantastic year, overall we got over 3300kWh which again is our best so far. Still impressed with the output we are getting from 3kWp panels.

It's been a while since I've posted here, but thought I'd sum up my figures since install end of Feb 2014:

Total generation of 2571.99kWh which brought me in at 98.6 percent of PVGIS estimates (bearing in mind there's almost two months no generation to take into account).
I imported 1757 units of electricity (underfloor electric heating in living being the obvious guzzler during cold months).

So, as the year ends, I'm very pleased with my non-standard orientation of panels, and they certainly knocked a good amount off my yearly electricity usage, (previous apartment with no panels and no need of electric heating I was clocking up around 180-200 units/per month).

Rather coincidentally, my worst day was Dec 21st (shortest day), with the panels generating a paltry 0.13kWh / 0.033 O's
Even the day after Boxing Day with the snow around I generated more! (0.360kWh)
    4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=29935
  • Better day today.... 1.2 O's here today :)
4kw PV fitted 4th July 2014 (Green Energy NW £5600). WSW facing, 30 deg Pitch, Unshaded, Samil Solar River inverter, 16 Solar World Mono panels, Iboost on Immersion Heater. located in mid Lincolnshire.
