That was the year that was and I'm fairly pleased with it overall. December total was 51.77 kWh (25.88 Os), which is the best I've ever achieved for December and pretty good for my rather shaded winter months (mostly caused by a telegraph pole). That's 9.5% below SAF PVGIS for the month.

My annual total is 1917.38 kWh (958.69 Os), again my best ever and 1.9% above SAF PVGIS. Considering my shading and restricted output inverter, that's pretty good.

Happy New Year everyone and here's to lots of sunshine in 2015!
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

    0.82 O's today.....Dec total = 81.3kWh (best Dec from last 4):T
    2014 total = 3536.7 kWh. 2012 = 3497kWh, 2013 total = 3605kWh:)

Installer estimated figures = 3208kWh per year

    Happy New Year everyone:beer:

    Edit:
Burnt 200,000 calories on my bike this year..wondering if I can connect up to my PV:idea:

Here's a couple of graphs to show yearly production.

Production started June 2011 so 2011's figure is extrapolated.

System is 3.92kW, SE facing in the SW of the UK, with shading for a couple of hours in the mornings during December & January.

Here is month by month, compared to last year. Red / Green = this year. Red = worse than last year, Green = better than last year. White = last year.

    So today it's 4.27 kWh, 1.13 Os.

My first full month yields 103 kWh against a Climate-SAF PVGIS of 109 kWh. So I have 95% this month. Time will indicate the degree to which I am comprised by south easterly tree shading.

According to my Swimovate watch swimming computer, I have clocked up in excess of 160,000 kilo calories, or 186 kWh. That equates to 49 Os.

Another 1.8 O's clocked up on my SSW today
Not bothered checking the others due to the snow being very reluctant to go away.

    Monthlies
    SSW 74kWh (119% PVGIS)
ESE 34kWh (81% PVGIS(would have been over 100 without the snow))
WNW 15kWh (91% PVGIS(again would have been 100%+ without snow))

All 3 systems still performed better than PVGIS estimates for the year with the WNW at 108%smiley-happy110.gif

    Leccy import 379kWh.....ouch
Gas import 56 units...27 in the last 13 days(hardly been above freezing past week)

Ps, forgot...Happy new year all.....may the generation be with yousmiley-sw018.gif
    2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)

    Hi All

December generation turned out as being 14% better than the previous best for the 12th month, with 2014 ending as being marginally the best year so far ... on top, the solar thermal provided just over 1/3 extra to the 'generation' total (confined more by usage than production) ...

Energy usage (import) for 2014 ended up as being below 6.9kWh/sqm of living space for electricity and gas heating (backup DHW and space heating) below 3.8kWh/sqm ...

Throw in about 10kg/sqm (living) of hardwood logs & a handful of AA/AAA batteries that's about it for the year ...

Can you add that to your FIT payment....;)
