  • What a miserable lot the weather was today...... 0.12 of an O today.....
4kw PV fitted 4th July 2014 (Green Energy NW £5600). WSW facing, 30 deg Pitch, Unshaded, Samil Solar River inverter, 16 Solar World Mono panels, Iboost on Immersion Heater. located in mid Lincolnshire.
  • Well it was my first day with the new PV's on the roof. If I have my calcs right (I have a 4kw system and generated exactly 1kw) it means 0.25 "O's".....Considering I had absolutely no sun with fog all day I think I've done Ok. Funny how the sun is such a preoccupation now I have PV, i'm becoming obsessed and it's only the first day!

2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
  • I do rather like Enphase's public display of users' generation figures:

    https://enlighten.enphaseenergy.com/public_systems

It allows one to access one's performance alongside other users nearby.

Do other inverter manufacturers provided this facility?

    Hi

You'll probably find that PVOutput (http://pvoutput.org/) would be a better prospect for comparison ...

Have been away since 22nd visiting our 1st Granchild Tommy Oliver who came into the world last Wednesday. Have not really given Solar PV much thought when we have had our own little ray of sunshine to get to know.

Back today and the figures look rather depressing.

    23/11 0.177 O's
    24/11 1.143 O's
    25/11 1.486 O's
    26/11 0.141 O's
    27/11 0.085 O's

    Hi

We need ~7.5kWh to hit November's target, but on recent form it could take until Christmas to get there .... :D
