I'm just joining the club. I delighted with my installation. Completed today by TP Solar. Live at 2 PM. Generated 162 Wh. Many thanks to the gentleman who PMed me with the recommendation of TP Solar and to the participants in the forum who gave me guidance and advice.

Let's hope the signature works. Regards, Sterling

Before you use the spoon, I may have a claim on it.

Technically I got 1kWh or 0.18 Os, but,

the WNW (with a 1 decimal place TGM) clocked up a fat zero, whilst the ESE with no decimals clocked up 1, but on closer inspection most of that was left over from yesterday, the inverters only recorded 200Wh, so I actually 'scored' approximately 0.04 Os. :(

    Oh, what a grey day!

3 weeks in projecting around 95% for November, so fingers crossed for a sunny week to close.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Happy Birthday to my panels; they are 3 yrs young today..:bdaycake::bdaycake::iloveyou:

Despite the fact that they only did 0.36 O's today...But I await £252.51p from EoN for this 1/4.:D

To date they have achieved 82% of PVGIS this month.
Managed 28.5% more generation this year than predicted on install.
Managed to return 51.04% of Investment in 3 Years (prediction was 6.5 years including Leccy savings).

kWh hours used were 3,500. kWh billed were 1,683. Saved £196.05p this year alone. Well Pleased......smiley-laughing021.gif......coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
  • It has been my first full day. 0.47 O's. Scaffolding not removed yet.
