System 3, the ill fated, Gods are against me, come on guys there has to be a way of doing this, DNO approved, DNO disapproved, DNO approval lost, DNO approved again - WNW 2000W (8 panels) 30deg pitch SE2200 system, is still hanging in the balance. Scaffolding went up yesterday for install tomorrow, but panels didn't arrive. Fingers crossed for Thursday, then an almighty rush to get all the paperwork complete and scanned and registered!!!!!!!

I don't mind a challenge, especially after the first 6 installers told me this couldn't be done - but this is getting silly now. :p

    Mart.

A new record for us today. We had a 3.98kwp system installed in early July. Today was our first day of unbroken sunshine and we managed 26.48Kwh.

Phew, 12.48kWh, best day for ages, at last one worth posting! Some cloud so hoping for better over the next four days - might even beat my all-time record set on 30th April.
Well, 'twas not to be - completely unbroken sunshine from dawn to dusk and got 12.49kWh. I now know that my record of 12.92 on 30th April cannot be broken this year as the days will get shorter and the higher temperature of the panels will also reduce the output over what it was in April. Hopefully next year there will be some long sunny days in May or June that will enable me to break the 13kWh barrier.

Yes definitely. The hotter the panels get the less efficient they are.

You will see higher peaks on days with a mix of sun and cloud as the panels will cool when shaded by cloud, then produce a higher peak once the sun hits them until they heat up again.

I've just been looking at our logs for the last few days. Our highest peak today was 3.432KW, but on Saturday we hit 3.996KW.

Expressed as a multiple of an hour's production at one's kwp, I got 6.77 (26.54kWh) and JH89 got even less. You got a full seven, so I've no idea why you're complaining! 25th May was slightly nearer the equinox and cooler too, so you can't expect to match that.

BTW welcome to the thread JH.

Don't give up. If it's a sunny day and a northerly cool breeze you may still crack it yet.

I got 23.7kWh here despite the hot weather, our 3rd best day ever and the best since May 26th (24.4kWh) which was closer to the equinox than we were today (Monday). Have notched up 98.6kWh since the good weather kicked in on Thursday last week (~20kWh/day) and we're now only 7% under PVGIS for July (pro-rata). 16kWh needed per day to hit PVGIS target for the July.

    Probably, or seagulls ?

Perfect sunshine, even the vapour trails from the jets at Stansted dispersed.
Almost perfect bell curve, though it starts with a jolt as the inverter decides to power up and ends with a long tail, partly because of the orientation, as the sun sinks.

Maximum observed output on the monitor 3.2kW, though the inverter was boasting a highest instantaneous output for the day nearer the 3.6 kWp capacity of the inverter.

Turned on the immersion (in addition to a couple of computers, light bulbs and the usual standby stuff. Got 39 watts from the panels to one on the import meter. (red flashing meters).

Afternoon temperature (in the shade) 29 centigrade.

Total for the day 23.91 units on the export meter (inverter was boasting 24.1).
I have managed to top 25 exported units twice in late may and again circa 21 June.
