Edit: having checked the inverter specs, the maximum AC power is given as 4000W, so maybe you can get more.

Hiya Kevin, the specs do say 4,000W on the AC side, but they also say that UK models will be limited to upto 16A and 3,680W for G83/1 compliance. So I suspect reloaded is maxing out.

I've been getting sun and rain all do, so seeing some silly numbers from my 3.58kWp system, some as high as 3.7kW ...... briefly!

Still, no complaints, the forecast was bad, and still managed 3.55 Os all in.

Should be very, very close to 3/4 of a MWh for June. That'll do nicely. :)

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

When you get a peak of just 811W in June, you know it's gonna be a bad day!

Just over 4kWh/1 O... what month are we in?!! Probably scuppered me hitting 100% PVGIS estimate this month. Don't think Sat/Sun will be much better either.

Hold the Phone Groovy; Sunday is going to be a cracker (hopefully, not an Xmas one with SNOW).speechless-smiley-040.gif Already 28% over on PVGIS est. for this month, despite only getting 3.68 O's today.....t1943.gif
I have seen my inverter number as high as over 3kW; not bad from a 2.5 kWp system.....:rotfl: coffee.gif

I don't suppose the limiting factor is a software thing that can be worked around by someone that knows?

    Yeah, but no, but!

When your system was installed, your installer will have set the inverter so that it knew what country it was in (so to speak). Thus activating the G83/1 settings.

Officially you could ask your DNO for permission to export 4kW (they won't take own consumption into account). But not worth the bother, generation over 90% won't add up to much as it won't last very long/be very often, so with a cap of 92% already, you'd probably see very little difference anyway, in a year.

Unofficially ....... hmmmmm possibly, but I'm off to buy a bargepole, to not touch this with.
Already 28% over on PVGIS est. for this month

If the weather is average for the next 3 days, may get about 117% for June, my best June by far.

I've been looking into my payments due and currently stand at over £700 for this quarter, despite this month being mostly overcast, I can't even remember the last day I had wall to wall sunshine from dawn till dusk.
Makes me wonder if I could hit the £1k for a quarter anytime soon. Wake up tunnel....your dreaming again...smiley-cool04.gif

Still waiting to see what the supplier has to say about it, although after doing some digging myself it states you need a transmitter for each renewable source to be able to get a combined generation total...and I only have the one transmitter so don't look good for me.

On the upside, my current cost works fine, may even look at the energyhive thingymerjigger as it is compatible.

Ask your supplier to tell you what you need, and give you a good deal, otherwise money back jobby.

I fancy getting one of these to use; looks like the way to a good harvest....they do fittings now for Combi boilers that don't have an electricary immersion built in with them....cool..:D http://wattson.energyhive.com/dashboard/jillandtony :rotfl::rotfl:
