Well, our system has now been fitted for a whole month. The sunshine hasn't been brilliant in the West Midlands, but I'm quite happy with how the system is performing.
I gave EDF a quick call today just to see how the FiT application is progressing. They confirm everything is fine with it and it's being processed, but estimate it will take 5 months to finally be set up.
FIVE MONTHS!!! :eek:12x327 Sunpower Panels (3.92kWp), Fronius IG35+ Inverter, 25 deg. pitch, Halesowen, SSW facing, no shading.0 -

Been pretty good here the last 3 days, got 33.5, 24.4 and 32.2 kWh respectively, or 6, 4.37 and 5.77 Os.
Yesterday was a 'perfect day' for my ESE, with a stunning start, then some white in the sky, once the sun had gone over to the west, giving me my first 24kWh (6.7 Os) on the ESE. The price of course, was to knock the WNW gen down to 8.2 compared to 11.5 on Tuesday.
June is now threatening to close at 112%, one can only hope.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

To give you some comparison, my install was Feb 26th, I received my contract and returned it around 8th of June and was informed by SSE they`d like my first reading on July 7th. It`s a slow process..... :undecided
On the bright side - just passed 1600 kWh today....I seem to remember your` install was on the same date Groovy, how does that reading compare?
One more point - I saw my Geo Solo`s instantanious reading display 4.11 kW at one point yesterday! Never realised it would go as high. :beer:3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:0
