    Hi all

Im afraid only 4.17 O's. Today my second year ended since I had Solar Panels.

    1st year Generation 2070.63
    2nd year Generation 2128.95

Better then 1st year. At end of March the system was going lot better than last year, but had a worse April and May... oh well....... Up and onwards.

Ok'ish end to week 1, 3.42 Os today, and a predicted month end of 101%.

Did everyone get hit by the electrical storm?

I got up at 4am, way too hot, had to open all the windows. Was trying to get back to sleep, but Wifey's away volunteering all weekend, so the latest rescue moggie (he might call it a mugging followed by forced imprisonment) Flash the feral feline, decides it's a good time to get brave and move from the bottom of the bed.

So at 5am I have a giant tom pressed against my chest, letting me know how affectionate he is by repeatedly hitting my face with the back of his over-sized head.

At that point, simplest the loudest lightning blast I've ever heard went off. Sounded like a gas explosion in my neighbours house. About 2 to 3 seconds (1/2 mile perhaps?) later the thunderclap follows and rattles the house. I brace myself for 18 claw holes and a blood transfusion, but instead he's back to purring before my heart rate has even dropped below 200bpm's.

    Damn, that was loud!

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

4.76 O's today; considering it was throwing it down on our way to Nottingham in the morning - turned out well around midday, which suited me. raise-the-roof-smiley-emoticon.gifcoffee.gif

Visiting our local open air market yesterday I explained to one of the stall holders that the expected rain would "skirt" round our area leaving us relatively dry.

Within 5 mins of leaving, the heavens opened and we had torrential rain until lunchtime....so much for my forecast:doh:

Afternoon was much better, made 3.05 O's:D
