I was just thinking today Legoman that I might get one for my Scunny system but probably not until the winter when it might be more cost efficient. Even today which has been mainly gloomy the afternoon brightened and I have generated 9.5kw thus far, exceeding my daily average usage. In the winter it's much more critical and I can imagine becoming a complete anorak with a new toy such as this. How much are they now please?Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

You know, like MSE Solar Oscars?
We could have categories like most helpful poster, maths genius, naysayer, spamworthy, cynical, biggest ever ejit?
To start the ball rolling, I'd like to nominate Martyn, zeupater, Kernel, groovy, tunnel, Eric, oscar, John, jimmy for some of the categories listed, but can I nominate myself for the biggest ever ejit category, aka the cockerel of the year award?
Not sure if its right to nominate yourself???
BUT, after reading your woefull story, i nominate you for biggest ever ejit...2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

That energyhive hub is really swaying me towards finally getting a Wattson now! Damn you all!
In other news, a healthy 20.77kWh yesterday (and my third Hawaii!). Today "just" 12.25kWh / 3 O's. Not looking good for tomorrow it seems, wonder if I'll even reach a single O4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=299350 -

Works in the summer; as well........:DThat energyhive hub is really swaying me towards finally getting a Wattson now! Damn you all!
I had mine directly from Energeno (same company). It is an Optiplug accessory for the Wattson - available from http://www.diykyoto.com or their distributors.
Give them due for developing the Wattson Monitor and the skin for Wattson at Home and using the Energyhive server. Plus you can get support for the software from them directly.
3.88 O's today, but checking my Wattson Monitoring site, I could see why.......

I'm going to try an experiment later today, will report back on results :idea:4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
