Tell me about it, I'll just have to wait for battery storage to be viable now - done everything else i think i can do

It's only a start, but Germany, Japan and the US (I think) are experimenting with domestic storage systems, some subsidised, as long term they could help with grid balancing.

Germany’s storage subsidy yields 4,000 systems in first year

Don't expect anything (cheap) soon in the UK, but it's all happening. And Elon Musk (via Tesla) is in the process of building a Giga factory to build Lithium batteries. The factory should bring costs down as it will probably be larger than all current facilities put together.

Personally, I just want a Hawaii, weatherman lied about Monday, but today is looking good ..... dare I say.

Very nice. I was also hoping for similar but clouds have descended so may be lucky to get Hawaii.

Well I've been screwed as soon as reporting that by apparent clouds near home! Should get to 6 though, as long as it's not too cloudy...

Seems possible. I've hit 6 Os, but I won't get another 4kWh in the next 3 hours as I'm SE facing, rather than your SW. :)

It started nice and clear here today but cumulus started bubbling up mid morning and I suspected it would cloud up from the NW during the day. But the opposite has happened and cloud has dissipated during the afternoon and it's clear now.

I used the PVGIS calculator to get my monthly generation figures for the 3 arrays and entered them into PVOutput. http://pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=30882&sid=28300

A milestone was reached today. £100 earned in 50 days plus what I save on my electricity bill. Luvly jubbly! :)

And I've just hit 5.0 with another 90 minutes of generation to come,
    Cheers,
    Ray.

    Me and my big ........

No sooner did I say it than the clouds rolled in, and gen was up and down like a yoyo. Closed on 27.6 ...... 4.95 Os ...... getting seriously fed up with a case of H5O envy.

Still, tomorrow (and Friday) look stunning, so what can go wrong?

[Edit: Forgot to say, week 2 closed with month end prediction of 105%, so nice May so far. M.]

You've tempted fate there again, Mart!

Had my best day yet with 18.04kWh / 4.51 O's. Still chasing that elusive first Hawaii! I'm sure Halifax has its own micro-climate being on so close to one side of the Pennines :D
Started off clear, ended clear, but I suspect the white fluffy ones scuppered the perfect generation curve. Will check that later once I've uploaded my GEO Solo's readings to pvoutput.
