But never mind, the good times are soon to roll again.....
Even with shades... 2.62 O's.. Oscargrouch what's up mate.. You haven't got shade problem have you?0 -
A paltry 3kWh yesterday, (it took 9 hours to hit the 2kWh mark, a further 2 hours took me up another 1kWh - thanks to the sky brightening up).
Better today at 8.6kWh - blue sky for a while this morning.
I'm missing Friday's belter of a day already4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=299350 -
I'm not concerned about my system as my generation seems to be similar to other systems my size.....but, do any of you have any thoughts, or give further insight/experience on this?
Thanks, Dawn.
Bottom line is it's only really on cold but very sunny days where having a limited inverter will make much of a difference. On other days you get the benefit of a lower rated inverter.0 -
Cursing the Damn TREE that's where I am...
I stand in front of my Window and look at the Tree and start cursing it. It's a stubborn Tree..... oh well given up now.....
1.13 O's yesterday
He's still going.......on about the tree........:rotfl::rotfl: Good to hear from you at long last.....Leaves are not at full span yet........2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -
Taking a look at my PVOutput stats, I can see that I am 0.34kWh down on PVGIS, per day, on average to the end of yesterday. Not too bad. But I'd prefer to be above it!3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.

Nor of course has the sun reached its high point. Shading effect might get either better or worse. (copper nails are still very cheap !)NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

I don't think you can look at PVGIS as a sensible comparison. Far better to compare with local systems.0 -

PVGS is by far the best (maybe even the only) comparison method that is at all meaningfull. But it's very much a long term thing - there's so much short term variation that one day's output has no 'norm' - even comparing this April with a typical April is pretty pointless.
Comparing with a nearby installation may well be more useful in the short term but you'd need to be absolutely certain that it was a valid comparison - if the other set of panels were pointing in different directions or subject to a different degree of local shading the comparison would be no help at all.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
I compare to both PVGIS and also other local systems. Such as...

http://pvoutput.org/compare.jsp?sid=28021&sid1=7369
I tend to do quite well compared to them (neither of them beat me very often at all), but I don't know about exact details of shading or orientation....3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
