Just thought I`d add this. I`m not saying this reveals the differences between the majority of males and females but it might give a clue to the difference between myself and my wife!....:o
Pre PV install - average daily usage circa 15 Units
Post PV Install - average daily usage circa 8 Units
Since Fri a.m when my wife left (for the weekend!) and I went on to nightshift - total of 2 Units consumed and zero gas
Hahaha maybe I should stay on nightshift a while!

Think you are missing the main point: it's not you on night shift; it's wife at home; I get the same. ie Washing Machine on at 08:00. I say - "Your peaking too early, wait till about 13:00' - Reply - 'Yeh, but I want to get it dry' :mad:Bless em...:rotfl:
[Edit] SSW panels bye the way....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

A poor 5.7kWh today, which is whatever o's!
Bought an energyhive hub on weds, arrived saturday morning.
Hooked it up and connected fine.
Only single clamp so cannot differentiate import/export or net usage.
They are currently looking at this as they have had a number of requests for those with currentcost monitors & clones (mine is an eon branded envir) - not fussed about the inhouse display, more about the energyhive dashboard as I can then see it on anything around the house.
Will keep you all posted...4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -

Assuming 4kWp system; that would be 1.425 O's
Take a look at http://wattson.energyhive.com/dashboard/demo
but you would need a Wattson Transmitter. :rotfl:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Yep, seen that.
As the energyhive hub understands multiple transmitters, and they do all sorts of funky stuff on their servers to the data, then they are looking at the options for this, so you wouldn't need a wattson4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.

Managed 1.15 Os, 4.5kWh yesterday. Looks like significantly less today. April has been awful3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
Surrey/SE. 30 degree roof pitch, chimney shading from mid afternoon.0
