Suspect you've misread ?
Yesterday was around 2.3kW;
Did I misread the forecast for today last night? Could have sworn it said mist for half the morning and cloud all day, yet 5 kWh by horizontal peak (1pm)
and 8.93 kWh overall.0 -
Well you lucky people...I put on a whole 1.5 kW in over 4 hours of lovely sunshine...can't contain my excitement...don't know what I will do if I ever hit a magical 0! Probably combust, along with this system that will not know what's happenening to it!

2.48 O's, not as good as yesterday; but so far this Jan, have done 97.7% of what was done in Jan 2013....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

Actually, I thought it was good manners to use the same units as the poster to whom I was replying had used. I didn't want to seem a narrow minded pedant by correcting them
As usual, it all depends on whose forecast you read and when - but I too was pleasantly surprised not to see the all day fog some of them threatened us with.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

Cider country generation has been great this month so far.
96.5kWh (26.1 Os) as of last night against a month PVGIS target of 108kWh (29.2 Os) with 10 days to go. Best day so far was last Sunday with an 11.9kWh (3.2 Os) and the 11th was 11.3kWh.
If the next 10 days are like the past 21, we'll end with around 144kWh (38.9 Os). Last year January generation was 115kWh.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

Similar story here: Already exceeded Jan '13 by 1.92 O's. My best was also Sunday 19th with 2.68 O's.
Todays story tells me 1.16 O's racked up today....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Still no O, but tickled it again with 5.5kWh (0.986 of an O).
Interesting to see the WNW starting to come alive now. Not much gen, but actual sunlight on panels for an ickle bit, not just daylight.
Tomorrow looks better, could just tip an O.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
