    3.24 O's getting better...coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Three or four times as much? Should be nowhere near that, it cost me less than £10 a month extra to go from 3Mbps to 70 (I'm about 450m from the cabinet). Mind you, I don't know what you're paying at the moment. Sorry, this is all getting rather OT and probably shouldn't be continued here.

My utility pole is in the E corner of the garden and far enough away not to be a problem.
It supplies electricity & Talk Talk telecom service. The telephone bit is a tad cheaper than BT (Though I do get the occasional spoofed spam call prefixed 00...........) The broadband bit, paid a year in advance, costs less than £4 a month.
Given TT's reputation, I was taking a bit of a chance switching from Plus net. However I'm getting 4 - 5 Mbs and there have only been a couple of busy weekend afternoons when the service jammed up. Normally it performs to spec. even when watching TV or Skype.
It is a bit like choosing to use the old rail line now that HS1, offering less than an hour from Kent to London, has freed up seats on the existing lines.

Samknows, for whom I run a government sponsored monitoring box, suggests that going for fibre to the cabinet, won't produce an impressive increase in speed.

Wel, there we have it, a dreadful day to end a dreadful month - only 0.61kWh today.

    October total: 87.61kWh
    SAF PVGIS: 128kWh (-31.6%)
    Classic PVGIS: 113kWh (-22.5%)

    October 2012: 99.22kWh
    October 2011: 147.91kWh

    Best day: 7th, 7.52kWh
    Worst day: 13th, 0.34kWh

Would have got a bit more if I'd tackled that tree earlier.

    System: M1 ESE 3.58kWp

    Total generation: 157kWh (2012 166kWh)

    Generation per kWp: 43.85kWh

    System: M2 WNW 2.0kWp

    Total generation: 67.7kWh (2012 60.5kWh)

    Generation per kWp: 33.85kWh

    Silly facts:
    1. Total house PV 99% of PVGIS target for Oct. ESE 97%, WNW 104%.
    2. Total gen for year only 31kWh short of annual target (PVGIS with no deduction despite shading issues)

    Mart
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Well I managed 187kWh between my 2 systems. The steeper(45deg) SSW now taking over the ESE for generation by 97-90kWh. My "expected" totals were 207 in climate so i'm not too disappointed.

I've also imported 336kWh this month which works out about £40 compared to about £90ish made from generation.

All in all I must say i'm still quite pleased:D
    2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)
