    Hi all

What can I say about August not much. . My enemies are still same. . Little sun, when I do get the sun it's the wrong time lol.. The tree seems to have blossomed more. Around 11.55am I'll get over 1kwh power... Before it can be sunny as you like the tree shade stops the generation. Believe it or not today generation is the one of the best one 3.14 O's. I know Oscargrouch will laugh and have a field day. .

Yesterday generation of 2.12 O's. I'm going to hide now

    As if I would.......:rotfl:

5.36 O's today, 2nd best day in August so far.... smiley-laughing021.gif And I nearly forgot....... A Hawaii

Bye the way Shafeeq, welcome back.......coffee.gif

Time for a midnight raid on that tree me thinks, arm yourself with some copper nails and a 5L canister of weed killer. I'm sure someone will advise which would be the best to use;)

I made 3.5 O's today, even got the nod from the wife to "extend" onto my 2 systems with a WNW add-on:)

    Estwing, about your signature

Even though its sunny, its not all about the money

For us early adopters its all about the money even though its sunny(we did pay nearly 3 times as much)

Don't tempt me. The neighbour never goes for a holiday. I been living here 6 years he never been away for a night. As for midnight deed he has a dog..

    Any ideas

You could pop around and say you are about to renew your house insurance, and ask him to show you documentation to say that the tree is sound and does not endanger your building. And ask him when he last had it checked by a Tree Surgeon to ensure that it does not present a danger to the public.....(just to follow the HSE rules....coffee.gif

    Glyphosate springs to mind...coffee.gif

Ease up tunnel, it's more tongue in cheek than anything didn't think I would get a bite from it. What happened to sustainability and all that

In regards to paying 3 times as much, you've also got a fit three times as much, so quit whinging, you'll be weighed back in no probs

Hiya T, got to ask - what kind of idiot installs a WNW extension? :p

Hope it'll have it's own TGM, you won't want it apportioned!

Gen here still going well. Yesterday the ..... ahem ..... WNW had to do all the heavy lifting due to a poor start, but today was about 21, and currently predicting 107% for August if last 5 days are average.

Nice month, and nice summer. Certainly a good target to hope for in the future.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    Mart.

    I wonder:rotfl:

Keep wondering about it,when I took the dog out this evening the sun was shining directly onto the only part of my roof without panels

Will def have its own gen meter, wouldn't want it to interfere with others unless my FIT provider screwed up my contract AGAIN:D(wishfull thinking)

    Ditto

Must ask, how much were the sunpower 327w panels? The wife is "allowing" me to increase our capacity by extending onto the front of the house so want to cram as much capacity into as little space as I dare without upsetting her indoors too much

As for sustainability, we are all in it for the return...(well I am) if your not, then send your money back to George as a donation to the 'ConDemnation Party'.

    They were £8.5k, just over

Not what I wanted to pay for a 4kwp system but hope the uplift pays off in the long term
