    Hi

No gas used here either .... June Was another 500+kWh month for the pv, despite the last week's contribution being awful.

For comparison, as there was mention of thermal system performance data on this thread recently, for those who are interested, the thermal system produced a further 200+kWh.t, however, at this time of year solar thermal is really limited more by usage rather than potential ...

... Well over 700kWh total in a month ... not bad for systems which are orientated much closer to West than South :D, for comparison, it's approx 1/3 better than the appalling June last year and just behind June the previous year ....

What are you guys seeing for your total annual generation?

Tomorrow is the 1st anniversary of our system install, and the meter tonight is reading 4026Kwh (about 1013 O's). Much higher than the SAP figure of 3411 we were quoted by the installer.

Quite happy with that as it's around 13% ROI @ the 21p FIT rate.

    Are you on the equator?

I have 2 systems and neither are ideal, one being nearly east and the other with late shading issues but I still manage around 3400kWh per annum.

Could do with less days like today, only 2 O's, still the weatherpeople(pc correct) are all getting excited about the azores high on its way. Strange really, they're happy cos were gonna get some sunshine and were happy cos were gonna get some sunshine and earn some cash:D

Off to polish off my bottle of red now cos its me birfday and I can:beer:

Haha! - I wish.... Sunny Northamptonshire I'm afraid. But we are dead south facing with 43deg roof pitch, and only a minimal amount of very early morning shading from the neighbour's roof and our TV aerial.

We have got a SB4000 inverter which is not capped, so while it doesn't happen that often we do see over 4000Ws from the system sometimes (I saw it hit 4350 once!).

I'm wondering whether the cool summer has helped. It seems generation from May and June has been excellent overall.

I take it that you have a 4 kWp system, which means 4026 = 1006.5 O's. Looking at that and being in the same County, you are not so far different from what I did. I made 999.36 O's in my 1st Year and the forecast was 818.4 O's. I am not South facing as you can see, hence the difference, I guess.

A poor 2.2O's today, back to catch up looking forward to next weeks sunblast....smiley-laughing021.gif

Yeah - we have 15 x 265W panels, so the system size is 3.975Kw.

From the PVGIS figures I saw, I was expecting nearer to 3800kwh. It's good to be over that figure and it looks like the system is performing well.

Last 3 days, target 20kWh's, got:
    26.6kWh - 4.77 Os
    9.4kWh - 1.68 Os
    14.1kWh - 2.53 Os

So a slow start to July, but weather turns today at noon (hopefully) then loads of sun, and for all of the next 8 days too. :T

[Edit: Just checked weather site and the 9 day forecast (5/7 to 14/7) summarises the 9 days with 7 solid suns and 2 large suns behind small white clouds. How I hope they've got this one right.

Am I right to think that the weather for most of the UK is forecast to be very good over the coming week? M.]

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
