Not sure, but it becomes easier the further south you go. If I picked up my house and plonked it as far south as I can. 220 miles as the crow flies. Brighton area, my PVGIS would increase by around 20%.
It's very hilly down here, checking my figures and being on the down side of one of the hills, we've been averaging 88% of annual PVGIS since installation.

Hi one and all, it has been a long time since I posted on this thread.
I don’t want to take us off topic, but you are the experts with the experience.
It must be a record spring for generation in most of the country, and even after a morning of rain, here at 11:00 I am still exporting 2 kWatts.
I have an annual gripe with my FiT payment spanning the year end on 31st of March. Back in the halcyon days of early 2012, I signed up with British Gas. The payments ever since have been more or less trouble free every three months.
However every year the payments ever since, spanning the year end, are spread into the old year in a way that is to the advantage of Centrica for the inflation price of a pint of beer over the year end.
So this year, I made sure that on the 1st of April I was up and about before the inverter had woken up for the day.
I supplied my reading of **140 via the usual on-line form.
10 days later, I get a demand to send in a photo. So a day later I do and I keep a copy.

Now I have received my payment BUT someone has used the reading on the photo and then back dated the reading to create a figure as at 31 st of March that reads **231, thus backdating 91 kilowatt hours into the previous year.

OK the money is pretty trivial, it won’t even pay for the cheapest draft pint in the “Spoons” BUT who is accusing me of fraud or is it false accounting?

Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't think anyone has accused you of anything, unless you've had comms from BG that you haven't mentioned.

I can't speak for BGs FIT process but EON Next (and nPower before them) ask for readings four times a year, during the months of March, June, September and December, not later than the 25th of the month. This means that they have to estimate the readings for 1st of April, and (in my experience, when I've checked) they always estimate this as a higher reading than it really is.
That's not particularly relevant to your problem, of course. I'm sure BG have a complaints process; you should follow it.
