3.7 O's Think I left Flux a couple of days early, way better than forecast again

@SuzeQStan think we all get what I call "little leaks" when the inverter has to switch. Mine is usually around 0.2-0.4kWh a day.

I bought a lower powered kettle (2kW) as hubby has a lot of brews and also isn't as careful as me with the "one high powered appliance at a time" rule and often sets the toaster off before the kettle boils. It does seem to help a bit. My family nicknamed me The Energy Police........

Same for me. Average daily grid import about 0.6kw. I'm using a Growatt Hybrid Inverter and there is a little lag, particularily when using a high wattage device like a kettle. The battery will only give 3kw if no solar available. I've bought a 2.2KW kettle to help with this.Your consumption seems high compared to mine. I only consume an average of between 4 and 6 KW per day. I'm exporting most of my solar production to the grid but that will soon change in the coming months. Also going to change from gas hob to electric so will use more.
    Managed 5.04 O's today
We work from home & slow charge our EV hence high usage.  We got our panels mainly to support the way we need to use leccy, but we still got over £200 in export which was decent considering our usage.

we have the same inverter as you. Good idea on the lower wattage kettle as it must go on 10 times a day. 👍🏻

Sounds like a new kettle is a relatively easy way forward in hoping to avoid these grid leaks!

The Energy Police - I like it!

we are very careful on the one big appliance at a time - if we need a cuppa then anything running is placed on pause.
