I don't have an EV so less options for me. Agile should work ok with my small battery, I can fill it using overnight cheap slots then top up again early afternoon if needed to get me through the evening. Recent prices have been slightly cheaper than Flux cheap rate, will have to hope for a windy winter.

this will be our 1st winter with solar panels.  since April we’ve been consuming average 15-20kwh per day and grid usage per day average 0.75kwh per day.

It’s annoying that grid leccy - seems to me that a shift in demand takes a bit from the grid before the inverter can respond?

Dunno if anyone else has found the same?

  • Same for me. Average daily grid import about 0.6kw. I'm using a Growatt Hybrid Inverter and there is a little lag, particularily when using a high wattage device like a kettle. The battery will only give 3kw if no solar available. I've bought a 2.2KW kettle to help with this.Your consumption seems high compared to mine. I only consume an average of between 4 and 6 KW per day. I'm exporting most of my solar production to the grid but that will soon change in the coming months. Also going to change from gas hob to electric so will use more.
