I thought 1.01 O's was bad until I read the above results. Worst day since 30th March.91% of PVGIS for September. First month below estimate.6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Buckinghamshire.2

26C here all day with wall to wall sunshine.
Pity my panels can't be here with me! 0.75 O's ish.🤬😡16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.4 -
I could say that was a poor Sept but it was my first with solar so I've had nothing to compare against.
325kw made
100kw exported
230kw consumumed
So only 5kw of grid use which is excellent, I can't complain.
We made a real effort to reduce our consumption this month and have managed to reduce it by around 100kw for the month.
Here's hoping for a similar Oct.4.3kwp JA panels, Huawei 3.68kw Hybrid inverter, Huawei 10kw Lunar 2000 battery, Myenergi eddi, South facing array with a 15 degree roof pitch, winter shade.3 -
September results.
Nooooo...... heating went on on the 30th. Making the most of the 2.9p/kWh gas, before it jumps to 10.5p in a week or so.
Average month with 99% of target. Tiny spread, with 98% for the ESE and 100% for the WNW.
Generated 383kWh (68.57 O's).
Imported 356kWh.
Exported 189kWh.
Consumed 550kWh.
Gas was ~88kWh.
Getting better but import and export still high. BEV driving was a mix of night time and PV, but from now on I expect it'll be import, as the spare PV goes into the A2A units.
Looks like annual leccy consumption will be around 6,800kWh, up from ~3,200kWh prior to BEV's and small heatpumps. Doing more BEV mileage than we did with the ICEV, so much fun.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.5 -
Not a bad September at 2.7% above PVGIS, roughly in the middle of my results over the years. The July to September quarter as a whole, which is what I get paid for, was my second best ever, just shy of 2018.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.3

2.37 today which isn't a bad start, I need to average 1.4 to meet PVGIS.
September stats as follows:
309kWh generated
202.98kWh exported at an average 27p
190.84 imported at an average 34.5p
£37.11 saving vs importing that same energy from the grid, SEG is worth £54.73
Gas usage appears to be 239kWh4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.4 -
