Tomorrow's forecasts are looking remarkably like today's were at this time yesterday. Let's hope our forecasters have their usual degree of accuracy !

Well what do you know ? Today's weather was just like yesterdays (and very little like either forecast).

    Hence 15.4kWh

'Only' another 42kWh needed tomorrow to meet the 'old' pvgis forecast or 71kWh for the 'new' one. Not altogether confident on either :D

Realistically, I should creep over 75% of month's entitlement; maybe even 80% if tomorrow is a good day. But forecasters are pretty confident that tomorrow will be better than today should have been so I'm half expecting complete darkness to reign over the land from morning till eve !

  • 10 kWh yesterday :(

Looks like it could be a corker today tho :)

PS I'm quoting from the Current Cost ENViR which has an OptiSmart sensor on the generation meter. Figures are spot on bar any decimal places. No more going up the loft :D

I take it all back - weather forecasting is a precise and accurate science....

Needed 7.5 O's to make PVGIS classic - wasn't ever going to happen but 5.5 for the day was a lot better than I expected and the best for the year so far. Leaves me just 2 O's short or 97% of target at 64 O's for the month.

Wonder what April Fools day has in store for tomorrow!

So the end of an atrocious month, total generation 105.16 kWh (52.58 O's) compared to 203.03 kWh in March 2012. 20.9% below PVGIS classic and 33.9% below SAF PVGIS.

Nobody will be surprised to hear that I didn't make 71kWh (or even 42 kWh).

But pleased to report that my 'forecast' of complete darkness all day was wrong. Indeed, the TV weather forecast this morning was reasonably accurate in saying "plenty of bright spells" although there was nothing like the amount of cloudiness predicted by my webpage forecasts late last night.

Total generation for day was 19 kWh (9.9 Es).

Monthly generation turned out to be 90% of 'old' pvgis forecast or 85% of 'new' one. And at 5.4 Es, I'm not too disheartened although March 2012 had been 47% over the 'old' pvgis forecast.

Too depressed to post for this month..:o

And bit confused people quoting % of different things, makes no meaningful comparison when people are quoting for different measures.
