Not sure why you want them to 'tally' ?
With you saying you had had bright sunshine virtually all day, I just presumed you were on your way to another 25kWh+ total. How do you account for the 6 kWh reduction on the previous day?

Sustained evening and late afternoon sunshine boosted my final figure to a more respectable 18.33kWh

Just lots of apparently light clouds having an unexpectedly large effect on generation.

Today setting off well - almost up to 2 Kw and not yet 9am - but forecast is wretched; still, they've been wrong before . . . .

Clouds had surprisingly zero effect on us yesterday (net). Slightly slower start, but generating around 3kW for the core hours, whereas previous days, with still air, and blue skies we were getting 2.4 to 2.5kW.

Final results, almost identical 22 and 21.5.

Also noticed the import falling off a cliff again. Before PV we were using an average of 7.5kWh/day Winter, and 7kWh/day Summer. May average is 3.5, due to poor start, last 10 days, 2.5, which tallies exactly with the last 3 weeks of August 2011 after the install when import dropped from average 7.2 (1st to 8th) down to 2.5 (9th to 31st). Big smiles!

If I get to see import levels of 80kWh's / month for June, July and August, there'll be Bigger smiles.

Just hit the PVGIS estimate for May this morning - really did not think that was going to happen with the dreadful start to the month. However, my best ever day remains April 30th.

Yes, my 2kWp SSE facing system has never quite managed to exceed 13kWh. What's the rating of your inverter? I'm fairly sure mine is limiting the output as although it's rated for a maximum of 2kW of panels, its rated maximum output is 1575W and I have only occasionally seen higher than this

    KevinG,

My inverter is a sunny boy 2000hf,looking at the technical jarb its got 2kwh max output, system is only 1.96 so no real probs with topping out. Guess its probably worth just going slightly bigger cos as we all know every watt counts when it comes to the FIT payments :D

My tally upto now since my last FIT payment(31/3) is now 429.5kwp, expected total to end of may is 382 so well in front, long may the sun shine.

My total since 31/3 (end) to yesterday is 401, so not hugely behind you, however I don't understand your 382 figure, I'm heading for about 220 for May. I think I might have been sold a bit of a pup with the inverter - it's a Mastervolt Sunmaster XS2000, sold as suitable for 2kWp system but that maximum output seems far too low. It seems that Sunny Boy rather more honestly name their inverters according to the maximum output power, not the maximum input power.

Since submitting my ¼ FIT readings on the evening of the 22nd of May, my system has managed to clock up 112.7kW = £52.97p. towards my next ¼ in only 7 days.:j  Well pleased.
Anyone else having a problem getting on the Metcheck site without just getting an advertising site instead?

Metcheck now seems to have sorted itself out.......

    KevinG,

The figure 382 is what the total estimate on the PVGIS site is for april/may combined,so the figure, currently 429.5 and counting is the actual generated power with a day left

OK thanks tunnel, for comparison my estimate for April/May is 393 and actual to yesterday 401.
