Can't say I'm not a little bit worried about the wind being a new solar owner!
Rang up and had them added to my buildings insurance though so I'd hope I'd be covered if anything bad happened.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.2 -

We've had ours 10 years and being fairly high up and exposed on the east coast of Scotland, we get battered by high winds every winter but haven't had any issues with the panels.
There's trees down near us tonight and our wheelie bins are at the bottom of the garden but the panels are going nowhere.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go5
