Hi I have a 4kwh solar pv system and my electricity meter is old style . When the sun is good my meter goes backwards as more energy from sun is being absorded by solar panels than is being used in the home.
I am getting a smart meter fitted in end of August as per dual fuel contract, my question is will the smart meter go backwards too. Any help appreciated0 -

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).5 -
Should I cancel the installation as I will lose benefit of meter going backwards especially in the good summer months or am I am clutching at straws0
