Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

  • Hello, I have been following this thread for a while as I am interested in all things Solar. Could someone please explain what an 'O' is? I understand what the PVGIS estimate is but can't work out how that relates to an 'O' ???

Simply put, an 'O' is the number of kWh generated divided by your array size (kWp).

    Yesterday I generated 25 kWh from a 4kWp array = 6.25 O's
    4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North Lincs
    Installed June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400
    Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh

More sun, albeit with some cloud, meant 6.42 O today. With 71% of the month elapsed I'm currently at 81% of PVGIS for the whole month :)
