I've just checked & I'm at 60.6% so it looks very promising. Only need 2.48 O's a day from now on.

That’s 23.6% better than me relative to our respective PVGIS figures and you can’t be that far away. I am at DN21 3PS, where are you if you don’t mind me asking?

Shortly after I got my panels I did a PVGIS comparison with a south facing roof at the same location and that predicted 104.4 Os for April compared to my target of 91.4 Os. Your calculation suggests your target is about 94 Os. Is that right?

Edit: Those figures were based on my 39* roof slope not 30* btw.

94 O's is right on the money.

I had to replace my inverter at the end of January & this one seems to be flying. Both February & March were record months. Unlikely to set a record this month due to the freak April in 2015.

All the extra kWhs are gratefully received by the pylontechs.:)

I'm located in DN9....about 7 miles as the crow flies.

    Edit:
Just noticed your orientation.....your output is going to be very susceptible to misty mornings which could account for the difference. It'll be interesting to see how we compare later in the year.

I originate from the Isle, myself.

I do find on these hazy or overcast days my system performs relatively well with a lot of reflected (refracted?) light giving both sides of the roof a chance.

I am really interested in your Pylontech battery set up. I did have a Moixa battery for a short time as part of my new install last year but sent it back and I believe Moixa have now switched to Pylontech. I dont think the east/west roof installation works anywhere near as well with a battery as a south roof does as there just isn’t enough spare solar PV in winter to make it worthwhile, at the moment at least.

You're welcome to pop round for a coffee & a chat about batteries any time. It's probably about 14 miles by road.

I guess that at this time of year your iBoost will be mopping up any potential export.

5.78 Os yesterday, best of the year so far. Overcast and no chance of getting anywhere near that today. 41.6% of April PVGIS at the half-way point.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
