Renewables: "talking 'bout my generation"

Hit my expected generation for the year today - didn't see that coming and bodes quite well for the remaining 6 weeks of the year:rotfl: With a bit of luck adding this year's total to that of last year will average out as two normal years having been about 200kWh down last year:beer:
Thanks, I hadn't even thought about that when playing number juggling. Turns out I hit year end target in the last day or so of October. Also shows how little I generate in Nov & Dec, only about 4.5% of annual total.
Prediction still within about 2 O's of best year ever (2014).
Edit - T's back, hooray!Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Yeah, November and December only contribute about 6.5% of the annual expected generation but, as they say, every little helps...0

Must be different orientation
Yeah, you're only 1 mile away.
But with me having 3 panels (900w) facing NE that only catch the sun early doors before the 14 SW facing ones come on stream later in the day I feel I feel i'll never win the O's race.
Those 3 panels do give me some early morning W to spread the generation, but put me at a disadvantage in the 'total system size / generation' calculations as there are ebbs and flows in which panels are generating through the day.
Whereas an install with all panels pointing the same direction is likely always going to win that calculation with all panels firing at pull pelt for the duration.17 x 300W panels (5.1kW) on a 3.68kW SolarEdge system in Sunny Sheffield.

Another bright October day returning 2.40 O's and I was out there for most of it trying to finish the job I started yesterday. All the rotten felt replaced and tiles back in place, just the guttering to clean and replace tomorrow, all being well.
