TBF to Mr & Mrs Weathermen they've been spot on this last week. Generation still doing well, with a nice 3.37 O's yesterday, and my month end prediction has been recovering by about 2% per day. Now at 96% for September (if the rest of the month is average), and the weather looks good for the last 3 days, so a possible 100%.

Strange month, but no complaints. Systems now over 30MWh. :)
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.
  • An abysmal 4.72 O's here and today......coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

  • 4th best day of the month just short of another Hawaii at 4.91 O's. As long as the panels carry on working tomorrow will hit my best September for generation.

I'm guessing it's the ongoing shutdown problem.

Correct! I am having a few days holiday and the system just sulks if I am not there in the morning when it gets up. Installer came Tuesday to fit a new RCD as he knew I was going away but that hasn’t sorted it.

Glutton for punishment that I am, I am watching my near neighbours PV output live each day and yesterday was one of the top 3 this month. My wife seems to think it is a good idea to go away in the motor home when the sun is shining. I don’t - well, not until my panels are fixed.
