  • Almost! 4.94 today.:) Although with the sun now lower in the sky SolarEdge is showing that a certain Silver birch tree is making it's presence felt on the panels for a couple of hours in the morning. Guess it's a good job we had it included, in spite of the rep saying there wouldn't be a shading issue!
East coast, lat 51.97. 8.26kw SSE, 23° pitch + 0.59kw WSW vertical. Nissan Leaf plus Zappi charger and 2 x ASHP's. Givenergy 8.2 & 9.5 kWh batts, 2 x 3 kW ac inverters. Indra V2H . CoCharger Host, Interest in Ripple Energy & Abundance.
  • 3.03 O's for today; mainly used for heating water, as out with EV most of the day.
Sadly, no immersion tank here yet to heat the water in, but Zappi did manage to cram 18 kWh's of sunshine into the EV. :)

Very nice day today. Managed to get all my holiday washing from yesterday Ironed today for free.:)
Passed 300 kWh's for the month. Passed 18 MWh's since installation.
    Hawaii + 0.45 O's
I see the sun may be lacking north of the Humber tomorrow so no good score for me then!
    Nearly matched you..a/an Hawaii + 0.32 O's....:D...coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

I mentioned previously that we're having a loft extension which required a 'tin roof'.

Finally the scaffolding is coming down to roof level and the solar panels are exposed to direct sunlight again...

There are still a lot of poles casting shadows on the panels so no where near optimal yet, (and I may use this opportunity while the scaffolding is there to wash them) but it's a vast improvement...

this week has been the first time we've broken the 300w level.

I imagine this has put our payback at least 9 months, but we do have an amazing new space so I can probably live with that. :)
