Back down to only 34% usage today :o, but the good news is 5.2 O's. After a poor run the ninth best day of the month.:)
    3.86 O's for yesterday. :j

Averaging about 56% usage for the month; compared to 45% last year and 37% the previous year. :money:

Not too bad yesterday, 4.83 Os vs 2.02 on Wednesday. Should get around 5 Os today which will take me to about 10% over August PVGIS.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

Well it clouded over a bit earlier than I hoped so only made 4.09 Os today for an August total of 111.63 Os, about 9% above PVGIS forecast. Not as good as last August or August 2013 but better than the others (although the 2016 figure is an estimate so it could have gone either way).

Perfect afternoon and would have been a perfect day bar about an hour before lunch when we had a bit of cloud.

    Best day of the month.

108% of estimate and 108 O's. Still my worst August by 9.5 O's

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Mixed August here, got 97% of PVGIS but a massive E/W split with only 93% on the ESE but 106% on the WNW.

    Got 498kWhs 89.2 O's.

Imported 99kWhs, and consumed 219kWh's, way down from the 294 in July (lots of A/C), and almost identical to both May and June.

    Exported 379kWhs.

Yearly total now predicting 104% and 4,550kWhs (best ever 2014 4,603kWhs).
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

If July hadn't been quite so good, I'd have been really pleased with August. 428kWh generated is 6.2% above PVGIS forecast.

But having got 127% of PVGIS in July, afraid I'm a bit disappointed :D

  • Consumption down to 31% of generation yesterday, but on the plus side 5.5 O's for the last day of August making it the seventh best of the month.:j With daylight hours shortening now I doubt it will be surpassed again this year. But you never know the start of September is looking promising. :)
